Australian Fish Auctions

 
Australian Fish Auctions holds online auctions on behalf of fishing co-operatives.  The contract of sale is between the bidder and the fishing co-operative.  All payments are to be made direct to the fishing co-operative.  All credit card payments are processed direct to the bank account of the fishing co-operative.
 
Auctions are conducted in Australian dollars and are payable in Australian dollars. No bid in any other currency can be accepted. All credit cards will be charged in Australian dollars. Bidders outside of Australia will be charged in Australian dollars. There is no buyers premium or administration fee.  The fish is packed in eskies.  There is an esky charge of $5.00 + GST.  Where the fishing co-operative delivers the fish a delivery charge will apply.  Images of all fish are representative of the product and not the actual item. 
 
Bidders must be able to use a debit or credit card acceptable to Australian Fish Auctions and sufficient credit must be available to cover the cost of any bid and freight charges. 
 
By entering a bid you are making a legal offer to purchase an item. 

The placement of a bid is legally binding and may not be withdrawn by the bidder after it is placed. Australian Fish Auctions will not under any circumstances be obliged to waive, or accept a request to waive, a bid. 

By placing a bid, the bidder accepts the terms and conditions imposed by these auction rules. If the bidder is a winning bidder then the bidder accepts an obligation to pay a sum equal to his winning bid together with the stated cost of freight.
 
Australian Fish Auctions reserves the right to cancel, suspend, extend or withdraw any item or auction at any time. Where possible Australian Fish Auctions will endeavour to inform bidders. 

Australian Fish Auctions will take all reasonable steps to receive and process any bids. Australian Fish Auctions cannot guarantee and is not liable if any bid fails to be accepted as a result of a technical error 

Australian Fish Auctions reserves the right to suspend or terminate a bidders participation in an auction and in future auctions, This will occur if a bidder: unreasonably refuses to accept delivery of goods or payment, attempts to manipulate the auction, commits fraud or bids on behalf of a bidder.
 
Australian Fish Auctions or it’s vendors may set a reserve price. Winning bids must always be higher or equal to the reserve. A vendor of Australian Fish Auctions may accept a bid lower than the reserve at its discretion. 

Any price guides exclude GST. A tax invoice will issued to all winning bidders.
 
Bidders must not use any device, software or routine to interfere with the Australian Fish Auctions web site. 


Returns & refunds
 
Bidders must notify the fishing co-operative within 24 hours of delivery if the fish delivered is of poor quality or the fish does not match the catalogue description.

These auction rules constitute an agreement between a bidder and Australian Fish Auctions. This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia and each party irrevocably and unconditionally submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
